It might have been a boring watch, but Leeds United secured a third clean sheet of the season with a 0-0 draw at Sunderland. Owen Hargreaves has made a prediction about one of Leeds’ best players.
Leeds went into the game with players missing training, and while both sides had to deal with Storm Boelo, the Whites had more hope of a win with Sunderland currently sitting at the bottom of the table.
Joe Rodon and Nico Elvedi both missed the game, while Noah Okafor and Anton Stach were only good for the bench. A clean sheet, with James Trafford producing a near-perfect display from the goalkeeper.
There were some solid performances all over the park. Even if Jayden Bogle had a bad day at the office, the likes of James Justin, Jaka Bijol and Ethan Ampadu played well. Tarik Muharemovic was excellent, too.
On Premier League Productions, Owen Hargreaves was asked if Leeds can have a season like Sunderland did last season, which resulted in European qualification. Leeds have lost just one of eight league games.

Our ratings are in for Leeds' draw against Sunderland. Who impressed you and why?
Going through Farke’s team, Hargreaves predicted Muharemovic could get himself a bigger move down the line, having played every single minute for Leeds in all 10 games so far since his £34m arrival.
“Yeah, I think they will [like Sunderland’s]. They have added a goalkeeper; he looks great. Muharemovic, the left-footed centre-back, he’s only 23 – I think he’ll move on to a bigger club. He’s been terrific.”
The Bosnia international’s form has not gone unnoticed. After impressing at the World Cup, aside from the Folarin Balogun drama, left-footed defender Muharemovic has been excellent over the last year.
It is no surprise to see him play every single minute for Leeds. Fans have moved on from Pascal Struijk because of Muharemovic’s form, but they might not get to keep him for as long as they may want.
Bayern Munich are interested in signing Muharemovic. Leeds are said to want a record sale for the defender, more than the fee received for Ballon d’Or contender Raphinha. He has a deal until 2031.
If Leeds want a long-term future with Muharemovic, then they must continue to meet his ambition. For now, that looks possible. A mid-table finish will be enough to keep him, but Europe will be on the radar.
