The ex-Blues player won his fight at a charity boxing show in London.
Madine earned the judges' favour in a split decision after his bout against Jamie Sendles-White (watch the fight below).
The closely-fought contest went the way of 36-year-old Madine against his opponent, the former Swindon Town and Leyton Orient defender Sendles-White.
Madine, dubbed "Mad Dog", wore shorts bearing his nickname "Buster" as he entered the ring and traded blows with Sendles-White in a gruelling three-round showdown.
It was part of A Night To Remember III, a night featuring several boxing matches involving former footballers.
The event was in aid of Willow Foundation, Playskill, Sport In Mind and Helping Hands Home Care / Royal Free Charity.

While the planned main event between Nile Ranger and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas did not go ahead, after Ranger was withdrawn after pre-fight medical checks, other ex-players went head to head.
Sebastien Bassong stopped Armand Traore while Harlee Dean knocked out Leroy Lita, and former Workington Reds man David Norris also defeated Simon Cox by third-round knockout.
Anthony Gardner out-pointed Matthew Briggs, and Lee Cook earned a points decision against Martin Woods.
Organised Graham Stack of Pro Project Promotions, said: “These lads put the work in for months, stepped into the ring in front of a packed Grosvenor and gave everything for a good cause.
"It was a shame not to see Nile and Jay share the ring, but fighters' health will always come first with us, and it was the right call.
"We'll be announcing the final total very soon, and I know it's going to take us a big step closer to our £500,000 target. Thank you to every fighter, every sponsor and everyone who bought a ticket.”
The previous two boxing nights raised a combined £201,500 for charity.
