The Capital Arena announced on Twitter (X) that WWE will hold a double taping of RAW and SmackDown on Monday, December 21, in Washington, DC.

The venue wrote, “Two shows. One night.

WWE RAW and SmackDown take over Capital One Arena on Monday, December 21!

Tickets on sale 11/6 at 10am.”

The announcement follows Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, which was immediately followed by a taping of SmackDown for this Friday. This taping is scheduled so the company can travel to Saudi Arabia for WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday. For the December event, this arrangement will prevent WWE from having to hold a live episode on Christmas Day, which falls on a Friday this year.
