Roberto De Zerbi spent big money in the summer transfer window, shaping the Tottenham Hotspur squad in his image.
Spurs were one of the biggest spenders in the Premier League, splashing out more than £330million on eight permanent new signings and committing to taking that spending to the £400million mark when Omar Marmoush's loan move becomes permanent next summer.
With a massive overhaul of the squad, things have taken a little while to gel at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but improvements can be seen in the way Spurs have been playing in the last few weeks.
Tottenham drew 1-1 with Manchester United in a game they dominated and should have won, before picking up their first Premier League win of the season against Coventry City. They then followed that up with one of their most unlikely results, beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, something they had only done once in the Premier League era before then.
New signings Sandro Tonali - Spurs' first ever £100million player - Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke and Marmoush have all played an important role in that change in fortunes.
One player Spurs supporters have not been able to see too much of in full flow yet, aside from his impressive Carabao Cup debut against Charlton, is Savio. The Brazilian forward played four Premier League games under De Zerbi before picking up a muscular injury.
Savio arrived at the club in an £85million move, a year after Spurs initially opened talks to sign him.
De Zerbi was particularly excited to have the 22-year-old on board when he completed the signing.
In terms of one-to-one, he's one of the best players, can play on either side.
"If you analyse the best wingers in the world they score 10 to 15 goals a season and he has the qualities. Maybe it's a habit and he had to get the habit. We need to increase the chances to score. The best teams score lots of goals."
De Zerbi thinks incredibly highly of Savio and he will be hoping to have him back in a Lilywhite shirt sooner rather than later. But, given his price tag, the youngster has a lot to live up to.
Tottenham broke their transfer record twice this year, not with Savio, although his price tag was the same as that of Fernandes, for whom De Zerbi did break the club record.
Did it happen before or after?

And that price tag has significance for the Brazilian frontman. According to Transfermarkt figures, which differ slightly to the actual numbers, Savio cost €87.7million, with the transfer site suggesting his market value at the time - having not exactly set the world alight at Manchester City - was just €35million.
When looking at all the big money signings Tottenham have made over the years and comparing them with their market values at the time, a €53.7million overspend makes Savio the most overpriced signing in Spurs history.
Fernandes does come close, at a suggested €49million overspend, with Tonali representing €28million overspend.
Tottenham supporters will not care about that if Savio delivers on his promise and helps Tottenham to success in the coming months and years.
