Myron Boadu admits players are letting Alessio Dionisi down

The Dutchman netted twice for Watford, his first for the club, as the Hornets took a deserved two-goal lead into the halftime break.

But things quickly unravelled in the second half for Watford, with Ben Chrisene's 53rd-minute strike kickstarting an 18-minute comeback which saw the Canaries win 3-2.

Speaking after the game, Boadu was in no mood to celebrate his personal achievement, as he admitted his frustrations and claimed that the players have been letting Dionisi down.

"The next game is on Tuesday [against Lincoln], so we don't have time to dwell on the negatives," he insisted. "We have to analyse the game and focus on Tuesday.

"Tuesday is an important game, and it's a home game; people are going to come and watch again, and give their hard-earned money again, and we have to show up.

"And I'm tired of saying that every time, but now we have to show up and show some personality; it doesn't matter if somebody makes mistakes or something, and that's what the coach has been telling us.

"I feel like we've also been letting him down a little bit."

Watford host newly promoted Lincoln City, who have won just one of their last six, on Tuesday night, in a crucial game.
