City, Rangers & Hibs join Hearts in SWPL Cup semis
Glasgow City winger Emily Whelan
Emily Whelan's goal put Glasgow City in front against Celtic

Holders Glasgow City, Rangers and Hibernian joined Hearts in the SWPL Cup semi-final draw with Sunday wins.

Emily Whelan struck from close range to give City the lead against Celtic, converting Lisa Evans' teasing cut-back from the right.

Ruby Seaby fired against the post for Glasgow and Emily Gray sealed the win by knocking in the hosts' second late on.

At Broadwood, Calliste Brookshire's corner hit the Partick Thistle bar before May Cruft put Rangers in front. Katie Wilkinson's free-kick doubled the advantage for last season's beaten finalists.

Wilkinson added another following the break - her 100th Rangers goal.

Motherwell took a first-half lead at home to Hibs through Lucy Sinclair. Scarlett Herron levelled in the second period and Libby Smith struck high to give the visitors victory.

On Friday, Hearts were the first side through to the last four with a comfortable 5-0 win away to Boroughmuir Thistle.

Mariana Speickmaier opened and completed the scoring with Lauren Wade netting Hearts' second and fourth goals. Erin Rennie notched their third.
