Matthew Forde, Amir Jangoo and Mandy Mangru have earned their maiden West Indies international retainer contracts, while John Campbell has returned to the contracted group after seven years, as Cricket West Indies (CWI) announced its list of contracted players for the 2026-27 season on Thursday (November 5).

The list features 15 senior men's and 15 senior women's retainer contracts, alongside three men's development contracts. All contracts will run from October 1, 2026, to September 30, 2027.

Campbell's return comes on the back of an impressive 2025-26 season, during which he scored his maiden Test century, an unbeaten 115 against India in Delhi. He also returned to the ODI side after a six-year absence, marking the comeback with a 68-ball 101 against India in Guwahati in September.

Forde and Jangoo have been rewarded for their contributions across formats. Forde claimed 10 Powerplay wickets in T20Is and six in ODIs over the past year, making him the leading West Indies bowler in that phase across both white-ball formats.

Jangoo, meanwhile, made headlines with a 233 against Sri Lanka in Antigua in June. His partnership of 401 with Test captain Roston Chase also established a new world record for the sixth wicket in Test cricket.

Keacy Carty, Chase, Justin Greaves and Jomel Warrican enter the second year of their two-year contracts.

Jewel Andrew, Ackeem Auguste and Vitel Lawes have been awarded development contracts. All three have represented West Indies at the international level, with the contracts marking a first for Auguste and Lawes.

“Development contracts bring players into the international set-up, where we can support them most closely and guide their progress,” said CWI Director of Cricket Miles Bascombe.

“They are in contention for selection now. This gives them the best environment to keep growing while they compete for places,” he added.

Among the women, Mangru earns her maiden international retainer contract following her involvement in the West Indies squad that reached the semi-finals of the 2026 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. Deandra Dottin and Chinelle Henry enter the second year of their two-year contracts.

CWI also clarified that the players who have not been awarded central contracts will still remain eligible for selection across all West Indies teams.
