Another day meant another round of European heavyweights who were ready to battle it out on the biggest stage.

Matchday 3 of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League continued Wednesday, with nine more matches across the continent and plenty of blockbuster clashes.

Among the standout fixtures, Arsenal traveled to Germany for a heavyweight showdown with Bayern Munich where both teams got a point as the game ended in a 2-2 draw, Real Madrid welcomed RB Leipzig to the Bernabéu and ended up winning 4-1, and Manchester United went to Italy to face Como in one of our two early matches, only for Michael Carrick's team to lose 4-1 in one of the worst losses in the club's history in the competition.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa took on Viking and won 3-1 and Internazionale bounced back from their defeat to Club Brugge as they defeated Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0.

Also on the schedule, we had Lille vs. Galatasaray in the other early match which saw the Turkish club win 4-2, Club Brugge defeated Lens 3-0, Real Betis defeated Feyenoord 1-0 and LASK defeated Sporting CP 3-2.
