Seahawks injury report: Rashid Shaheed, Leonard Williams DNP again

The Seattle Seahawks, after a walkthrough on Wednesday, held their first full practice of the week on Thursday for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, and they issued their second injury report. After playing the Chicago Bears on Monday night, the Seahawks had a walkthrough Wednesday.

The Seahawks listed 17 players on the report, nine of whom did not practice. Six are starters. Two players not on the estimated report Wednesday were added Thursday — linebacker Ernest Jones IV (ankle) and Derick Hall (back).

Three other players had their status change from Wednesday: recently acquired left guard Quenton Nelson and linebacker Uchenna Nwosu from limited to not practicing, and guard Anthony Bradford from limited to full.

Bradford had been the starting right guard until Nelson was acquired from the Colts last week. Grey Zabel, who had been the left guard, moved to the right side.

The full details of the Seahawks' Thursday injury report are below. Starters are noted with an asterisk.

Seahawks injury report

  • *LT Charles Cross (ankle)

  • *QB Sam Darnold (quadriceps/ribs)

  • LB Derick Hall (back)

  • *LG Quenton Nelson (knee)

  • *LB Uchenna Nwosu (ankle)

  • LB Connor O’Toole (foot)

Head coach Mike Macdonald said Williams, Cross and Shaheed "all have a chance to play. We haven't ruled anybody out yet." That is, except for Darnold, who was declared out Wednesday.

  • *LB Ernest Jones IV (ankle)

  • RB/RS Velus Jones Jr. (hamstring)

  • QB Drew Lock (right elbow)

Lock is set to start as he did in Week 2 against the Cardinals. In his Thursday press conference, Lock said his elbow is “a lot better. It’s doing good, doing good. I’m excited to be back out there. It felt great to get under center and rip some balls yesterday. So, it feels good.”

Calling his participation “like a normal week,” Lock said, “If the training staff wants to pull it back a little bit, then let them make that decision. But I’m expecting to go take every rep.”

Despite that assertion, he was listed as limited Thursday.

  • G Anthony Bradford (knee)
