Fulham announced his death on Thursday, expressing sadness at the loss of their former player.

The club stated that Vaughan spent two seasons at Craven Cottage, making 44 league appearances.

Vaughan joined Fulham from West Ham United in 1986 and made a significant contribution, earning the Supporters’ Player of the Year award.

He left Fulham in 1988 for Cambridge United, where he spent five years and made 231 appearances across all competitions.
