Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca has commented on Erling Haaland being the only player from the club included among the nominees for the Ballon d’Or.

Haaland is the sole representative of the Premier League leaders on the shortlist for the prestigious individual award.

Manchester City finished second in the Premier League last season, but have made a stronger start to the current campaign.

The club are top of the table after collecting 21 points from their opening eight matches.
