Arsenal have begun work on a possible deal for Eintracht Frankfurt attacking midfielder Can Uzun, according to CaughtOffside.

The 20-year-old is also being monitored by Aston Villa, Brighton and Everton, with competition potentially pushing up the cost of a transfer. Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to value Uzun at about 60 million euros.

Uzun has made six appearances in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

The Turkey international’s current contract with Eintracht Frankfurt runs until 2029, leaving the German club in a strong position should they decide to consider offers for the midfielder.
