Teen sensation Kingsley Bimpong has been rewarded with a long-term contract at Danish Superliga side AC Horsens.
The 19-year-old signed the new deal after impressing the club following his move from Ghana in February 2026.
Bimpong spent most of the first half of the year with the U19s, but after showing enormous potential at the youth side, he was promoted to the senior side, where he has already made four appearances including two starts.
"First of all, I am very happy to be part of AC Horsens, where the first time has been fantastic, and this is largely due to my teammates and coaches, who have been fantastic and have made it easy to settle in. The club has an ambition to establish itself in the Superliga, and I am ready to work hard to help achieve that goal," said the forward after signing the new contract.
Horsens Sports Director Esben Hansen believes the Ghanaian youngster will be important to the future of the club.
"Kingsley has undergone a very good development since he joined AC Horsens, and he distinguishes himself, among other things, by being very proactive in his football game, forward-looking and fast," he said.
"He has a strong ability to quickly adapt to a higher level, is quick to learn and has great potential, which we look forward to working with. Off the pitch, he is humble, well-liked and has quickly become part of the dressing room."
