Tuesday’s goal was not the first record Yamal has taken from the Real Madrid forward. He had already surpassed Mbappé in goals before age 19, reaching 11 during the knockout tie against Atlético de Madrid, compared with Mbappé’s 10 at the same age, Mundo Deportivo reported.

Yamal was born July 13, 2007, Sport Aragón reported, leaving him more than eight months and the remainder of the Champions League phase to extend the record before he turns 20.
