Manchester United will be without center back Lisandro Martínez when it searches for its first league win in over two months against Aston Villa on Sunday, Nov. 8.

The Argentine defender will be unavailable because he is serving a one-match suspension due to the red card he received against Chelsea on Oct. 31.

Martínez was shown two quick yellow cards in the second half of the 2-0 loss to the Blues last weekend. The second yellow led to a penalty kick, which Cole Palmer converted to give Chelsea a two-goal lead.

United finally broke its long winless streak on Tuesday, Nov. 3 with a comeback win over Roma. The defender started that match on the bench, but substituted on in the 74th minute to help his side pull off the win.

Who will replace Lisandro Martínez vs. Aston Villa?

In Martínez's absence, Harry Maguire and Ayden Heaven paired together in the center of defense against Roma. That could be a preview of what Michael Carrick's lineup looks like against Villa.

Despite the victory in Europe, the Red Devils haven't won a Premier League match since a 5-2 result over Ipswich Town way back on Aug. 30. They desperately need a win to pull away from the relegation zone and ease the pressure on Carrick.
