Orlando Pirates have received an encouraging boost ahead of their CAF Champions League second-leg encounter against African Stars after attacker Oswin Appollis returned to training, raising hopes that he could be available for the important fixture.

Appollis' return will come as welcome news to the Buccaneers, who are preparing for a crucial continental assignment. The talented winger has become an important attacking option for the Soweto giants, and his availability could strengthen the team's chances of delivering a positive performance.

The attacker was spotted back on the training ground as Orlando Pirates continued their preparations for the upcoming encounter. His return comes at a significant stage of the campaign, with the club determined to maintain its progress in Africa's premier club competition.

Appollis brings pace, creativity and attacking energy to the Pirates team. His ability to take on defenders, create scoring opportunities and contribute in the final third could prove valuable against an African Stars side expected to make the contest challenging.

However, his return to training does not automatically guarantee that he will feature in the second leg. The Pirates technical team will need to assess his fitness and match readiness before deciding whether to include him in the squad.

Meanwhile, concerns have emerged over Kamogelo Sebelebele, who was reportedly absent from the latest training session. His absence has raised questions about his availability for the upcoming match.

Nevertheless, without an official explanation from the club, it remains unclear whether Sebelebele is dealing with an injury or was absent for another reason. Supporters will be hoping for further clarification as preparations continue.

Pirates will be eager to have their key players available as they look to produce the performance needed to progress in the CAF Champions League.

Appollis' return is certainly encouraging, but the final decision on his involvement will rest with the coaching staff. Attention will also remain on Sebelebele as fans await updates ahead of the crucial African Stars encounter.
