Chiefs Target Two Experienced Attacking Stars

Kaizer Chiefs could be preparing for another attacking boost as the Soweto giants reportedly explore moves for two experienced South African forwards ahead of their upcoming challenges.

The Naturena-based club has been linked with Elias Mokwana and Thembinkosi Lorch, with both attackers attracting attention amid speculation surrounding their respective futures.

According to reports from SABC Sport, Chiefs have reached an agreement with winger Elias Mokwana, with an official announcement reportedly expected in the coming period. However, the club has not yet confirmed the development.

Mokwana is a familiar name in South African football, having impressed with his pace, dribbling ability and attacking qualities during his time in the Premier Soccer League.

His performances previously earned him an opportunity to continue his career abroad. A possible return to South Africa could provide the winger with an opportunity to revive his career and make another impact in the domestic game.

Meanwhile, Thembinkosi Lorch has also been mentioned as a potential addition to the Chiefs squad. The experienced attacker is reportedly approaching an exit from Libyan outfit Al-Ittihad Tripoli, which could create an opportunity for him to consider other clubs.

Lorch remains highly regarded among South African football supporters following his previous spells with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

His technical ability, creativity and experience at the highest level of domestic football could make him a valuable addition to Fernando Da Cruz's squad.

For Kaizer Chiefs, securing a player of Lorch's experience would provide the technical team with another attacking option, particularly in situations where creativity and individual quality are needed to unlock opposition defences.

The possible arrival of Mokwana and Lorch would give Da Cruz more depth and competition in the attacking department. Both players have different qualities that could help strengthen the team's options in the final third.

Chiefs have been working towards building a competitive squad capable of challenging for major trophies, and recruiting established South African attackers could be an important part of that process.

However, despite the growing speculation surrounding the two players, supporters will have to wait for official confirmation from the club before considering either move completed.

The possibility of seeing Mokwana and Lorch wearing the famous gold and black jersey has nevertheless generated excitement among Amakhosi supporters, who will be hoping for positive developments in the transfer market.
