Speculation has begun to circulate regarding a potential shake-up within the technical team at Orlando Pirates, with reports suggesting that head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou is keen to bring Mxolisi on board as his assistant.According to unverified claims spreading across digital platforms, the head coach allegedly communicated his preferences to the club management, pointing to rumored behind-the-scenes friction with existing assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi. However, neither the club nor any official sources have confirmed these rumors, leaving the reports firmly in the realm of speculation for now.

The relationship between a head coach and his coaching staff plays a vital role in maintaining team stability and executing tactical strategies successfully. At a prominent South African club like Orlando Pirates, where expectations and pressure from supporters are consistently high, any hint of discord within the technical department naturally draws intense scrutiny. The reports suggest that Ouaddou would prefer working alongside Mxolisi to help steer the Soweto giants, which has raised questions about what such a move could mean for Ncikazi's current position and responsibilities within the club.

Despite the widespread discussion among football fans and observers, no official announcements have been made regarding any imminent departures or appointments. There has been no verified evidence to substantiate claims of a permanent fallout between the coaching staff, and Ncikazi remains an active member of the technical team. Until the club issues a formal statement to clarify its internal situation, supporters and analysts are advised to view the reports with caution, keeping a close eye on how the management handles the rumors while the team continues its campaign for domestic honors.
