Two former Marumo Gallants coaches have reportedly emerged as leading candidates to take over the head coach position at Mbabane Highlanders AM, a club associated with South African businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize.

The development comes as the Eswatini-based side considers its options for the coaching position, with the experienced pair attracting attention following their recent time at Marumo Gallants.

Their previous involvement in South African football could make them appealing candidates as Mbabane Highlanders AM look to strengthen their technical department and establish a clear direction for the team.

Appointing a head coach is an important decision for any club, particularly when management wants to improve results and build a competitive squad. The successful candidate would be expected to oversee training, develop the players and implement a tactical approach suited to the team's ambitions.

The experience gained by the two coaches at Marumo Gallants could also prove valuable if either receives the opportunity. Familiarity with the demands of professional football and the challenges of managing a team can be important considerations when clubs assess potential appointments.

For Mbabane Highlanders AM, the next coaching appointment could influence the club's preparations and plans for the coming campaign. A new coach would need to understand the squad's strengths, identify areas for improvement and work with management to determine the team's priorities.

However, the identities of the two former Gallants coaches have not been provided in the information available, and no official appointment has been confirmed. Their reported status as leading candidates should therefore be treated as speculation until the club makes an announcement.

The situation is likely to attract attention from supporters eager to learn who will lead the team next. Until a final decision is communicated, the coaching position remains a developing story.
