Wandile Duba Celebrates R100,000 Prize After Hat-Trick Against TS Galaxy

Kaizer Chiefs striker Wandile Duba has celebrated a memorable night after scoring a hat-trick against TS Galaxy, earning the Man of the Match award and a R100,000 cash prize sponsored by Toyota South Africa.

The young forward delivered an outstanding performance on Tuesday night at FNB Stadium, scoring all three goals as Amakhosi secured a convincing 3-0 victory to advance to the Carling Knockout quarter-finals.

Following the match, Duba took to social media to share a picture of his Man of the Match award, highlighting his individual achievement and the financial reward that accompanied his impressive display.

His hat-trick was a significant contribution to Chiefs' success, demonstrating his finishing ability and potential to become an important attacking option for the Soweto giants. The performance also provided a welcome boost for the team as they continue their pursuit of silverware this season.

For Duba, receiving the R100,000 prize represents an additional reward for a performance that helped his team progress in a knockout competition. His achievement is also likely to strengthen his confidence as he seeks to establish himself further within the Chiefs squad.

The victory will provide encouragement for head coach Fernando Da Cruz, who will be looking for consistency from his attacking players as the season progresses. Duba's display has given the technical team another reason to consider his role in the club's upcoming fixtures.

Chiefs will now turn their attention to the Carling Knockout quarter-finals, where they will need another strong performance to keep their trophy ambitions alive.

The timing of Duba's breakthrough is particularly important, with the highly anticipated Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates approaching.

Amakhosi supporters will hope the young striker can maintain his scoring form and carry the confidence gained against TS Galaxy into the derby.

For now, Duba can celebrate an exceptional individual achievement that helped Kaizer Chiefs secure a crucial victory and advance in the competition.
