South African musician Prince Kaybee has taken another jab at Kaizer Chiefs after Joseph Bertrand shared a humorous post about the club's performance in the recent Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates.

Bertrand posted a picture of himself in a Kaizer Chiefs jersey and jokingly described the outfit as a way of celebrating the "we should have killed Pirates in the first half" trophy. He added that when there is little to celebrate, supporters have to create their own moments, and he ended the post with a reference to the Soweto Derby. His words seemed to poke fun at Chiefs fans, since the team failed to turn its first-half chances into a result against its arch-rivals.

Prince Kaybee was not impressed by the jersey and used the chance to mock the club. In his reply, he said he would not wear a Kaizer Chiefs jersey even if one fell off a truck. He then went a step further and said the jersey should fall off a truck, because he saw no value in wearing it. "I wouldn't wear a Kaizer Chiefs jersey even if they falling off a truck, of which they should fall of a truck because where's the value in wearing that jersey," he wrote.

He also tied the club's struggles to the idea of winning. In his view, anyone who wants to succeed would not want to look like a loser by wearing the club's colours. He closed his response with a friendly greeting.

The exchange adds a light and humorous layer to the rivalry between Chiefs and Pirates. Supporters often tease one another on social media after derby matches, and this was another example. Bertrand appeared to be sarcastically celebrating Chiefs' first-half display, while Prince Kaybee turned the post into another chance to question the club's fortunes.
