Dladla Gets Young Africans Fans Excited With Second Consecutive Victory

South African coach Simo Dladla continued his impressive start as interim coach of Young Africans SC after guiding the Tanzanian giants to a convincing 4-0 victory over Kagera Sugar FC in the Tanzanian Premier League on Sunday.

The result marked Dladla's second consecutive victory since taking charge of the club, giving him an encouraging start following the departure of former head coach Manqoba Mngqithi.

Dladla originally joined Young Africans as part of Mngqithi's technical team. However, after the South African coach left his position, Dladla was entrusted with the responsibility of leading the team as interim coach while they continue competing in domestic and continental competitions.

He has already shown positive signs in his new role, with Young Africans collecting another important three points under his guidance. Sunday's performance was particularly impressive as they scored four goals without conceding against Kagera Sugar.

The home side started the match with confidence and managed to take the lead in the 27th minute through Mamelodi Sundowns legend Peter Shalulile. The Namibian striker continued his recent good form by finding the back of the net for the second consecutive match.

Shalulile's latest goal also took his season tally to six goals, making him an important attacking player for Young Africans as they continue their fight for the league title.

The hosts did not have to wait long to extend their advantage. Mohamed Hussein scored in the 33rd minute to make it 2-0, giving Dladla's team a comfortable lead before the break.

Kagera Sugar struggled to get back into the contest as Young Africans continued to control proceedings. The Tanzanian giants then added two more goals in the closing stages of the match.

Cheikh Toure scored the third goal in the 88th minute before completing his brace in the 90th minute. His two late goals ensured that Young Africans finished the encounter with a convincing 4-0 victory.

The result also helped the club move closer to the top of the league table. Young Africans are now just two points behind their rivals and league leaders Simba SC, who have collected 18 points. However, Young Africans have played one match more.

Simba remain the only unbeaten team in the competition so far, having won all six of their matches and maintained a 100% winning record.

For Dladla, the latest victory is another positive step as he continues to handle the responsibility of leading one of Tanzania's biggest clubs. His immediate challenge will be to maintain the team's winning momentum and keep Young Africans in the title race while they compete on multiple fronts.
