Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has addressed the situation surrounding striker Sebastian Pedersen, whose limited minutes on the pitch have raised questions among supporters eager to see more of the new signing.

Pedersen joined the Buccaneers to strengthen their attacking options and help the club compete for silverware in domestic and continental competitions. However, his opportunities since arriving have been limited, leaving some fans wondering when he will become a more regular feature in the team.

Managing a squad filled with talented players presents a challenge for Ouaddou, who must select a starting lineup capable of delivering results in every match. At a club with high expectations, players must demonstrate that they are ready to contribute whenever they are given an opportunity.

Competition for places in the attacking department could also affect Pedersen’s involvement. With several options available in the forward line, the striker needs to impress during training sessions and make the most of his chances when selected.

Adapting to a new club can also take time. Pedersen must build an understanding with his teammates, adjust to Ouaddou’s tactical approach and become accustomed to the demands of South African football. These adjustments can influence how quickly a new signing establishes himself in the starting eleven.

Despite his limited playing time, Pedersen could still become an important option for Pirates as the campaign progresses. His ability to find the back of the net, combine with teammates and create space in attacking areas could give the coaching staff another dimension in the final third.

Pirates supporters will be hoping to see the striker receive more opportunities in upcoming matches. However, securing a regular place in the team will depend on his performances, readiness and the coach’s tactical decisions.

For now, Pedersen will need to remain focused, work hard in training and take advantage of the opportunities that come his way. With Pirates seeking success across multiple competitions, the striker will have an opportunity to prove his value if he can make a strong impression when selected.
