CR7 Hat-Trick: Cristiano Ronaldo Moves Just 15 Goals Away From Historic 1,000 Career Milestone

Cristiano Ronaldo has taken another massive step towards reaching one of the most extraordinary milestones in football history after producing a sensational hat-trick for Al Nassr against Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League.

The 41-year-old Portuguese superstar scored three times in a remarkable 15-minute spell to inspire Al Nassr to a thrilling 5-3 victory on Thursday, 29 October 2026. The performance took his reported career goal tally to 985, leaving him just 15 goals short of the historic 1,000 mark.

Ronaldo's latest achievement has once again attracted attention across the football world, particularly because of his ability to maintain an extraordinary goalscoring record at this stage of his career.

For supporters who have followed his journey from Manchester United and Real Madrid to Juventus and now Al Nassr, the pursuit of 1,000 goals represents another remarkable chapter in an already decorated career.

The match was far from straightforward for Al Nassr. Al-Kholood took the lead through Julien Domingues in the 16th minute, before Angelo Gabriel restored parity for the home side.

Sadio Mane subsequently put Al Nassr ahead, but Loic Essomba scored in first-half stoppage time to make it 2-2.

The Portuguese forward found the back of the net in the 66th minute following a clever contribution from fellow countryman Joao Felix. Just six minutes later, Ronaldo doubled his tally with a powerful header from another Felix delivery.

He completed his hat-trick in the 81st minute after Mane provided the pass that allowed him to finish clinically inside the penalty area.

Domingues later converted a stoppage-time penalty, but Al Nassr held on to secure all three points.

Joao Felix also enjoyed an outstanding evening, recording four assists in a performance that helped turn a difficult contest into a memorable victory.

The hat-trick moved Ronaldo to 985 official career goals, according to the Saudi Pro League's reported tally.

That means the five-time Ballon d'Or winner needs only 15 more goals to reach 1,000, a milestone that would add another extraordinary achievement to his football legacy.

His longevity, consistency and determination to continue competing at the highest level have remained central to his story.

At 41, Ronaldo continues to demonstrate that his appetite for goals has not disappeared. Every appearance now carries additional significance as supporters follow his progress towards the landmark.

The victory also carried important implications for Al Nassr's domestic campaign. The club moved to 28 points from 11 matches, remaining closely involved in the Saudi Pro League title race.
