Golden Arrows head coach Mandla Ncikazi has made it clear that he has no intention of speaking negatively about Orlando Pirates, despite no longer being part of the Soweto giants’ technical team.
Ncikazi, who previously worked with Pirates, explained that he still maintains a good relationship with the club and has no reason to make negative comments about his former employers.
The Golden Arrows coach stressed that his past association with Pirates remains an important part of his professional journey and that he respects the people and institution he worked with during his time at the club.
Speaking about his relationship with the Buccaneers, Ncikazi maintained that he does not see any need to criticise the team publicly or make statements that could damage the relationship he has built with the club.
“I have no responsibility to talk ill about Pirates,” Ncikazi stated.
His comments reflect his decision to maintain professionalism and respect towards a club that played a significant role in his coaching career.
Ncikazi previously served as part of Orlando Pirates’ technical team, where he worked alongside the club’s coaching staff and gained valuable experience in the highly competitive environment of South African football.
His departure from the club marked a new chapter in his managerial career, eventually leading him to Golden Arrows, where he is now focused on developing the team and achieving positive results.
Orlando Pirates remain one of the biggest football clubs in South Africa, with a large supporter base and a rich history in domestic and continental competitions.
Ncikazi’s latest remarks have demonstrated that his departure from the club has not affected the respect he has for his former employers.
