Bafana Bafana international Elias Mokwana has reportedly been a long-time admirer of Kaizer Chiefs, with his childhood dream of representing the Soweto giants dating back to his early days in football.

According to the individual who discovered the talented winger, playing for Amakhosi has always been one of Mokwana's biggest ambitions. His admiration for the club reportedly remained strong even after he secured a move to Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis.

The revelation offers an interesting insight into the player's personal connection with Kaizer Chiefs, suggesting that his affection for the club goes beyond his professional football career.

Mokwana has continued to build his reputation through his performances at club and international level, earning recognition as one of the players who have represented South African football abroad.

His move to Esperance marked another important step in his career, but according to his former discoverer, the opportunity to play for the Tunisian giants did not change the winger's long-standing admiration for Amakhosi.

The comments are likely to attract attention among Kaizer Chiefs supporters, particularly given the club's history of attracting players who grew up dreaming of wearing its famous gold and black jersey.

Whether Mokwana will eventually get the opportunity to fulfil that childhood ambition remains to be seen. However, the latest revelation has added another interesting dimension to his football journey and his reported connection with the Soweto-based club.
