Former Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza is reportedly facing an uncertain future at Scottland FC following the Zimbabwean champions' disappointing elimination from the CAF Champions League.

The early continental exit has reportedly raised questions about Mapeza's position at the club, with speculation growing over whether the team's management will consider making changes to the technical bench.

Mapeza, who previously coached South African side Chippa United, took charge of Scottland FC with expectations of guiding the club towards success both domestically and on the continental stage.

However, the team's failure to progress in Africa's premier club competition has reportedly placed his position under scrutiny, with the club's ambitions and expectations likely to influence decisions regarding its coaching staff.

Scottland FC had hoped to make a strong impression in the CAF Champions League after establishing themselves as champions in Zimbabwe. Their elimination, however, represents a setback for the club as it seeks to build its reputation beyond domestic football.

Mapeza brings considerable coaching experience to the table, having worked with several teams during his career, including a spell in South Africa's Premier Soccer League. His experience in African football was expected to be valuable as Scottland pursued its continental ambitions.

Despite the growing speculation, it remains unclear whether the club's management has made a final decision regarding the coach's future. No official confirmation of his departure has been provided in the information available.

The coming days could prove crucial for Mapeza as questions continue to emerge over his future at Scottland FC following the club's CAF Champions League disappointment.
