CHELSEA manager Xabi Alonso expressed his confusion over allegations that Joao Pedro’s injury details were leaked through fantasy football platforms.
There were reports circulating that relatives of certain Chelsea players had removed Pedro from their lineups in the official Premier League fantasy game.
Some fans speculate that this may have given Tottenham an edge in their preparation for the match at Stamford Bridge, which Roberto De Zerbi’s squad won 2-0.
When asked about his feelings regarding the public disclosure of Pedro’s injury in this manner, Chelsea’s manager was clearly taken aback.
The Blues’ manager commented: “I’m not involved in fantasy teams, so I wasn’t aware of that.”
However, Alonso would likely be very upset if he discovers any of his players shared the news about Pedro with friends or family, leading to it being made public by altering their Fantasy Premier League teams.

Palmer’s red card and Pedro’s absence lead to Spurs claiming a surprising victory
The Spaniard has been actively trying to address leaks within the dressing room that have occasionally plagued Chelsea.

It was a dismal evening in the rain for Alonso and the many Chelsea supporters who packed the Bridge.
Goalkeeper Mike Penders granted Tottenham a historic win during his first Premier League start.

Additionally, Palmer received the first red card of his career before Mathys Tel solidified Spurs’ victory in a match reminiscent of the infamous Battle of the Bridge.
Nothing will ever replace the 2-2 draw in 2016 that ended Tottenham’s title ambitions.
However, Penders’ own goal with just 12 minutes remaining paved the way for Roberto De Zerbi’s team to achieve a rare feat in this London derby.
