SEDIBENG.- Young Pirates FC came home with a point after playing to a 1-1 draw against TUT in the ABC Motsepe League Stream B match in Pretoria on October 23.

Despite a rocky start against Jomo Cosmos in their opening fixture, Pirates FC seem to have regained their form from last season.

They started last season on a high note, but their chances to win the league went up in smoke towards the end of the season.

However, this time around it seems they have learned from their previous mistake of being inconsistent. Before this weekend, Young Pirates FC were third on the Stream B log standings.

They have dropped to fourth on the log after four games with seven points. Pirates FC will be home against Mike-1-Stars FC at Sicelo Stadium in Midvaal on Friday (October 30).

Mike-1-Stars FC come into this encounter limping after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Tembisa Destroyers FC over the weekend. A lot will be at stake for both teams.

For example, Young Pirates FC will be out for blood to return to their top spot on the log, while Mike-1-Stars FC is in the same situation to improve their position on the log.

But having said this, no team comes out of Sicelo Stadium with three points. Isaac Mphasane and his charges will not allow themselves to be bullied on their own ground, especially in front of their supporters. They will come into this encounter knowing what is at stake.
