Olmo OUT, Nico Paz IN – A smart move for Barça? 🔵🔴 Is it time for Barça to move on from Dani Olmo and target Nico Paz?
The case FOR: Olmo (28) is undeniably talented, but his injury record and struggles to secure a regular starting spot under Flick raise questions. If Bayern offered €70–80M, would we really say no?
Meanwhile, Nico Paz (22) delivered 12 goals and 6 assists in Serie A last season and already has 2 goals and 2 assists in 7 games this season. He's younger, creative, technically gifted and could become a long-term midfield solution alongside Pedri and Fermín. Taking a former Madrid talent would make it even sweeter!
The case AGAINST: Olmo remains a proven, versatile match-winner, producing 8 goals and 9 assists last season. Paz isn't guaranteed to adapt immediately to Flick's demanding system, and Madrid's buy-back option makes a transfer complicated.
My take: If Bayern genuinely offered €70–80M and Paz were available at a reasonable price, I'd seriously consider it. A younger midfield with incredible potential for the next decade.
