Chelsea Set Three Conditions For Estevao’s PSG Move
Chelsea Set Three Conditions For Estevao's PSG Move

Chelsea are reportedly prepared to sanction Estevao Willian’s loan move to Paris Saint-Germain during the January transfer window, provided the French champions agree to three conditions.

The Brazilian winger has struggled for regular playing time under Xabi Alonso this season, raising questions about his immediate future at Stamford Bridge.

The Three Conditions Chelsea Set

According to TEAMtalk, citing French publication Football Ecology, Chelsea could allow the 19-year-old to spend the second half of the campaign in Paris, although the Premier League club have no intention of losing him permanently.

The Blues reportedly want any agreement to be a straight six-month loan without an option or obligation for PSG to purchase the player.

Chelsea would also demand that the Ligue 1 champions cover Estevao’s entire salary throughout the proposed loan spell.

The third condition concerns playing time, with the London club seeking assurances that the Brazil international would receive sufficient opportunities to continue his development.

Chelsea Confident Estevao Has Bright Future Amid Limited Playing Time

Despite his limited involvement this season, Chelsea remain convinced that Estevao has a bright future at Stamford Bridge and are unwilling to compromise their long-term plans for the youngster.

The former Palmeiras winger has yet to start a Premier League match this campaign, with most of his appearances coming as a substitute during the closing stages of games.

His frustration reportedly increased following Chelsea’s recent defeat to Tottenham, when Alonso overlooked him despite Joao Pedro’s absence.

Instead, the Spanish tactician deployed Morgan Rogers in attack and handed Geovany Quenda a starting opportunity.

Estevao’s lack of opportunities has become a growing concern, particularly after he arrived in England with considerable expectations following his impressive performances in Brazil.

Meanwhile, PSG’s interest has intensified following a serious injury to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

The Georgian winger suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury that is expected to keep him out for the remainder of the season, forcing Luis Enrique’s side to explore attacking reinforcements ahead of January.

According to French publication But! Football Club, PSG have identified six potential targets as they seek to strengthen their wide attacking options.

Estevao is among the players under consideration, with his situation at Chelsea potentially creating an opportunity for the French champions.

However, PSG already possess several attacking options, including Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Maghnes Akliouche, Mika Godts and Ferran Torres.
