MANCHESTER UNITED supporters are making an urgent appeal for Casemiro to orchestrate a remarkable return.

The 34-year-old midfielder departed Old Trafford after his lucrative contract came to an end this summer.

Casemiro has since moved to MLS team Inter Miami, where he is teammates with stars like Lionel Messi, as a free agent.

But frustrated United fans are pleading for the five-time Champions League winner to make a surprising return and help turn their season around.

The Red Devils have now extended their winless streak to NINE games following a 2-0 defeat against Chelsea on Saturday.

Fans flooded the comments section after Casemiro shared a post on social media about Inter Miami’s upcoming match against New England Revolution.

Lastly, another fan commented: “We truly miss you, Case. Things haven’t been the same since you left United.”

Casemiro had a crucial role in helping the Red Devils achieve Champions League qualification last season.

However, he left Old Trafford after winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup during his tenure.

United invested in THREE new players as replacements – with Andrey Santos, Youri Tielemans, and £70 million Carlos Baleba signing on.

Unfortunately, the changes in midfield have not yielded positive results; goal difference is now the only thing preventing the Red Devils from falling into the relegation zone.

United manager Michael Carrick is also under pressure regarding his position following a troubling start to the season.
