Exciting midfielder Teboho Mlangeni has been handed a professional contract by Kaizer Chiefs.
The 18-year-old from Zondi, Soweto, was in the news lately when he helped South Africa's U20 side, Amajita, secure the COSAFA Cup title in Mozambique last month and qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
His consistency has culminated in him being recognized by the powers that be at Naturena.
"Congratulations to Teboho Mlangeni on a well-deserved DDC contract," tweeted the player's representatives, P Management.
Mlangeni has previously played for Amakhosi's DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team but was in the youth structures. He has mainly featured in the Gauteng Development League (GDL) but has now earned a promotion, paving the way for him to target a first-team place in the future.
"It's a step up for him. He's definitely one for the future," said our source.
