Here is why Julie Blakstad could be a good option for your Women’s Super League Fantasy team ahead of Saturday’s north London derby at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Ahead of the clash in N17, Fantasy Football Scout pick out some key players from last weekend’s game and who is our most transferred in player for Saturday’s derby.
We have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 season.
Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and matchweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Signe Gaupset (£6.0m) was our top scoring WSL Fantasy player in Matchweek Six. Signe registered nine points for the Matchweek. Midfielders register five points for a goal and Signe also registered two appearance points as well as a defensive action and an attacking action point.
In WSL Fantasy, players register attacking action points for making any combination of four attacking actions in a single game. Attacking actions include shots on target, chances created, successful crosses and successful dribbles. Players register defensive actions points for completing 10 defensive actions, which include successful tackles, interceptions, clearances, blocked shots and recoveries. In Matchweek Six, Signe completed four attacking actions as well as 11 defensive actions.
Matilda Vinberg (£6.5m) also scored in Matchweek Six. Our midfielder registered seven Fantasy points, with Julie Blakstad (£5.5m) just one behind for the week with six points. Julie returned three points for the assist, two appearance points as well as a defensive action point.
Despite playing at left-back for us this season, Julie is classified as a midfielder in WSL Fantasy. Julie has registered 31 WSL Fantasy points over the opening six matches of the season, which across our team only Victoria Pelova (£6.5m) and Signe can better.
Julie has registered three assists in the league as well as picking up three points for defensive actions and six points for attacking actions. As she is registered as a midfielder in the game, she only receives one point per clean sheet, rather than the four that the defenders register.
Julie has created four big chances in the league this season, which is tied first across all the midfielders in the game. She is currently creating a chance every 35 minutes.
She has also supplied 13 accurate crosses which is the most of any midfielder in the game.
Victoria is our most transferred in player ahead of our Matchweek Seven fixture against her former side Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Victoria continued her run of returning additional points in Matchweek Six. Our midfielder registered both an extra attacking action point and a defensive action point, however she lost a point for her yellow card.
So far this season, Victoria has scored five goals and registered an assist in the league as well as collecting four attacking action points, one defensive action point, five bonus points and two clean sheet points.
Newcastle’s Beth Lumsden (£7.5m) is the top scoring Fantasy player in the WSL2. Lumsden has returned 45 points in the opening five matchweeks of the WSL2 season curtesy of two goals, three assists, three clean sheet points, six bonus points, two defensive action points and seven attacking action points. However, at just five per cent, ownership she remains a great differential for WSL Fantasy managers to invest in.
