Bisbal Bàsquet suffered the fourth defeat of the season after falling 85-80 against Biele ISB. Both teams entered the clash searching for their first victory of the campaign, but the hosts established control right from the opening tip. Biele ISB exploited early defensive lapses from the visitors to build a 26-16 advantage by the end of the first quarter, forcing coach Carles Surís’s squad to chase the game for long stretches.

First-Half Resurgence Narrows the Gap

Despite the early deficit, Bisbal Bàsquet found a rhythm before halftime. Sparked by a productive opening two quarters from Ragsdale—who piled up 13 points before the break—the visitors clawed their way back within striking distance. When the halftime buzzer sounded, Biele ISB’s lead had shrunk to four points at 43-39.

Third-Quarter Deficit Proves Too Steep

Xevi Torrent stepped up for the visitors during the third period, hitting crucial shots to keep Bisbal Bàsquet within touching distance of the hosts.

Late-Game Defensives Seal Catalan Defeat

Even so, the Catalan team never managed to take the lead. Ragsdale finished with a team-high 21 points, and Bisbal Bàsquet converted 12 three-pointers over the course of the evening. Ultimately, those contributions proved insufficient against a resilient Biele ISB side that confirmed the 85-80 final score.

Fourth Defeat Forces Urgent Weekday Regroup

The hard-fought loss leaves the Catalan side winless through the opening weeks of the season, deepening a difficult start that contrasts sharply with their midweek Copa España performance.
