Ciampa recently challenged Andrade for the National Title at AEW WrestleDream, with the latter's pair of pants going viral for "kicking out" of the former's cover. Andrade himself secured the win after dropping Ciampa with a DDT onto the title belt then following with a DM. Since WrestleDream, Ciampa has bounced back with a victory over SkyFlight's Matt Sydal on the October 31 edition of "Collision."

The Chris Jericho Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea will set sail for the seventh time, taking wrestling fans and talent from Miami to Bimini, Bahamas between November 7 and 11. Its special "Collision" episode will take place on November 7, with Chris Jericho, Harley Cameron, and The New Level's Kofi and Austin Creed also advertised for the show.

For Andrade, the Jericho Cruise "Collision" will mark his ninth AEW National Championship defense. He initially captured the title at AEW Redemption by defeating Mark Davis; in the weeks following, he successfully defended it against Daniel Garcia, PAC, The Beast Mortos, Jack Perry, and others.
