Kris Statlander has filled in for Marina Shafir and teamed with Jon Moxley at a Warrior Wrestling event from this past Friday.

Last year, while holding the AEW Women’s World Championship, the Death Riders would look to convince Statlander to abandon her tag team partner, Harley Cameron, in favor of joining the faction. Ultimately, Statlander would emphatically reject the chance to join the faction, attacking Wheeler Yuta and flipping off Jon Moxley. Now, she has joined the faction for one night only.

At a Warrior Wrestling event on October 30th, Jon Moxley was originally scheduled to team with Marina Shafir to take on the team of Lance Archer and ‘Dragon Champ’ Tootie Lynn. However, due to Marina Shafir being unable to compete, Statlander would fill in for the woman seemingly next in line for an AEW Women’s World Title shot.

Marina Shafir is unfortunately unable to compete tonight in Cincinnati, but Jon Moxley has brought along some backup!

During the bout, Statlander and Moxley would execute The Death Riders’ signature clotheslines in the corner to Archer, which you can check out below.

On this past Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Moxley would lay down the challenge to ‘The Cut’ for an Anarchy In The Arena match at AEW Full Gear. You can read more about that here.
