Longlier claimed provisional top spot in the league standings after securing a 3-1 victory over Habay B, overtaking both Mormont and Waremme ahead of their upcoming fixtures, according to sports reporting from L’Avenir.

Longlier and Messancy capitalize as Habay slips

Longlier seized control at the summit of the table following their home win against Habay B. The hosts benefited from an early own goal by Debehogne in the 7th minute before Harani took over the match. Harani levelled for Longlier in the 20th minute, converted a penalty in the 41st minute, and sealed the 3-1 result with his third goal in the 66th minute. Habay’s afternoon ended on a sour note when Coulibaly received a red card in the 89th minute. The defeat dropped Habay behind Messancy, who extended their winning run to three matches with a 2-0 away victory at Sprimont thanks to goals from Zanier and Zorkot.

Marloie claims the tranche after edging Bercheux

In Provincial 1, Houffaloise settled for a 1-1 draw against Bastogne under difficult wet and windy conditions. Degives broke the deadlock for the visitors with fifteen minutes remaining, before Diallo rescued a point for Houffaloise with an equaliser five minutes from time. That stalemate proved costly as Marloie capitalized by defeating Bercheux 2-1. Despite being heavily pressed by Raphaël Bozet’s side, Marloie found decisive goals through Djim just before half-time and a direct free-kick from Louis Lambert in the 85th minute, sandwiching a strike from C. Bozet.

Ochamps and Assenois surge into the chasing pack

Ochamps and Assenois moved within two points of the leading group with decisive victories. Ochamps bounced back from their previous loss to Bercheux by overwhelming Arlon inside the opening 35 minutes. Baudot capitalized on a defensive mix-up after just 16 seconds, and Doyen added two more goals in the 5th and 35th minutes. Meanwhile, Assenois overcame a shaky first half at Nothomb where Hannard opened the scoring for the hosts in the 23rd minute. Nkokolo converted a penalty just before the interval to equalize, paving the way for a strong second half capped by a double from Tom Paquet in the 63rd and 78th minutes.
