The statistics also show that the competition has produced 16 braces, three hat-tricks and one glut. Nine penalties and six own goals have also been recorded.
Attention now shifts to Week 15, which could provide another opportunity for the leading scorers to improve their tallies, with several interesting fixtures lined up for Saturday and Sunday.
Mustafa’s Mpulula Stars will face Becks Academy FC at Cape Maclear on Saturday, November 7, in a fixture that will also see him come up against Tendai, his closest challenger in the Golden Boot race.
The meeting gives Tendai an opportunity to reduce the four-goal gap, while Mustafa will be hoping to strengthen his position at the top of the scoring chart.
Elsewhere on Saturday, Songani All Stars will host Young Stars at Songani Ground, where Daudi Mustafa will be looking to add to his seven-goal tally.
Sunday’s fixtures will see Legacy FC take on Manzy Academy at Zomba Works Ground, while Buffaloes FC face Chilanga FC at Prison Ground.
The weekend programme will also feature a meeting between Letico FC and Manpower FC at Blaimana Ground, with Manpower’s leading scorers Chimenya and Mponda hoping to add to their five goals each.
