Prior to their season-opening game against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers used some WWE theme music to pump up the crowd at Crypto.com Arena.

The Lakers played world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns' entrance music while introducing their reserve players, and WWE legend John Cena's song when announcing the starting lineup:

The new-look Lakers impressed in their first game of the 2026-27 NBA regular season, overwhelming the Warriors en route to a 127-105 victory.

LeBron James left to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency during the offseason, ending his Lakers tenure after eight seasons.

That solidified Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves as the faces of the franchise, plus the Lakers made a big splash by acquiring center Walker Kessler in an offseason trade with the Utah Jazz.

Warriors-Lakers Highlights

The Lakers' star trio was paramount in their victory, as Dončić, Reaves and Kessler all scored 23 or more points.

On Friday, the Lakers will be back in action when they host the Los Angeles Clippers in their second game of the campaign.
