Arsenal hope that Noni Madueke will be fit for their huge Premier League showdown with Liverpool this weekend.
The Gunners travel to Anfield on Sunday for what looks set to be one of their toughest tests of the season so far.
Arsenal's task is made harder by the question marks still hanging over several attackers, whether that be related to injuries or poor form.
Bukayo Saka remains unavailable as he awaits a further scan on a quad injury suffered against Bayern Munich amid reports that he could be sidelined for up to eight weeks, while fellow winger Madueke missed the shock Carabao Cup defeat by Fleetwood in midweek due to an ankle issue.
That injury is not believed to be serious but it remains uncertain as to whether he will return to face Liverpool.
"We don't know yet,” Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said of Madueke’s availability at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“We have a training session tomorrow, [let’s] see if he can complete that full session, and after that we'll know whether he's available or not."

Madueke's availability is particularly significant considering that Max Dowman is suspended after his late red card against Fleetwood.
The Gunners are set to be bolstered by the return of Christos Tzolis, who is in contention to make the squad for the first time since before the last international break.
He has recovered from a hamstring injury and took full part in first-team training on Friday, as did Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori after their recent minor issues.
Both Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres were incredibly poor against Fleetwood and neither have done enough to suggest that they should be starting up front against Liverpool.
Havertz in particular had an awful night in the cup upset, but Arteta often turns to the German in the biggest matches.
Predicted Arsenal XI vs Liverpool (4-2-3-1): Raya; Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori; Rice, Guimaraes; Madueke, Odegaard, Eze; Havertz
Injured: Saliba, Saka
Doubt: Madueke
Suspended: Dowman
