NFL legend Bill Belichick, 74, has broken up with his extreme age-gap cheerleader girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, 25, according to a new report. 

The pair reportedly called it quits last year, and Jordon has since started dating again, although they are 'still close friends and remain committed to their business partnerships,' a source said.

The legendary former New England Patriots coach started dating the ex-Bridgewater State University student in 2022, after they met on a flight from Boston to Florida.

They were first pictured together in January 2023, before finally going public with their relationship in June 2024. 

They had a whirlwind, often controversial romance that led them to live together in both North Carolina, where Belichick currently coaches the UNC football team, and Nantucket.

A source close to Hudson told TMZ that the pair quietly ended their relationship 'late last year,' though it was not revealed who pulled the plug.

It is also being reported that Hudson has been 'seeing other people' since her romance ended with Belichick, who is 49 years her senior. According to TMZ, she's  already had someone else in the picture.

It is surprising that the news wasn't made public earlier, as Hudson has been a constant presence on the sideline at UNC games this season, and as recently as last weekend against Syracuse in Chapel Hill.

A week earlier, she was alongside her now-ex-boyfriend for the road game against Duke, with the pair beaming as they left the field together.

It remains to be seen whether Hudson will resume her role on the sideline after their split became public knowledge, with UNC at home against No. 1-ranked Miami in Chapel Hill on Saturday night. 

Bizarrely, the pair were also seen holding hands during a public appearance at the Kentucky Derby in May, after which Hudson posted a photo with the caption: 'Not the first time we’ve trudged through the mud together,' with a love heart.

That trip came months after their reported split at the end of 2025. 

During their romance, Hudson amassed an impressive $9 million property portfolio, as first reported by the Daily Mail.

She has snapped up at least four properties, including one worth $3 million, which were all purchased after she met the former New England Patriots coach.

Even more impressively, she has also paid off the mortgages on each home, with her primary residence listed as a two-bedroom cottage in Cape Cod.

Records also show that she has registered 18 companies – several with names that suggest she had, or has, some control over Belichick's affairs.

She operated as Belichick's de facto manager during their relationship, and it appears she remains involved with him from a business perspective, if not a romantic one.

Her control of his affairs hit the headlines most notably during a CBS Sunday Morning interview in April 2025.

Hudson, sitting out of shot, muscled in on reporter Tony Dokoupil's line of questioning about how the pair met, shouting out: 'We're not talking about this.'

CBS broadcast Hudson's multiple interruptions throughout the interview, with TMZ later reporting that she 'walked out and delayed filming by 30 minutes' and, at one point, even corrected Belichick while he was discussing football.

More recently, Belichick was forced to deny that Jordon has been 'trying to control UNC's football program,' calling the claims 'ridiculous' in a September interview with The Wall Street Journal.

To reports she is involved in virtually everything he does, Belichick responded that that is a 'flat-out lie.' 

Before his relationship with Hudson, Belichick was married to his ex-wife Debby for 30 years, and they separated before the 2004 NFL season.

He then had a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Linda Holliday, for about 16 years, from 2007 to 2022.
