Battling for playoff positioning, the Columbus Crew remained one point below the final Wild Card spot in the Eastern Conference with a 4-2 victory over Toronto FC, highlighted by a pair of goals from defender Malte Amundsen and a trio of assists from midfielder Dylan Chambost.

Aiming to sneak into the playoff picture, wingback Dominik Marczuk scored once and striker Sergi Solans bagged a brace as Real Salt Lake handed St. Louis CITY SC a 3-0 loss at America First Field, pulling within two points of the final Wild Card spot in the West.

Holding a ninth-place spot, LA Galaxy battled to a 2-2 draw at rivals LAFC on Sunday Night Soccer presented by Continental Tire, courtesy of Joseph Paintsil netting both goals.

Sitting eighth in the East, FC Cincinnati downed D.C. United for the second time in four days. Evander led the way with a goal and an assist, including a trademark long-range stunner in the 2-0 road win.

Summer signing Cédric Bakambu kept playoff hopes alive for San Diego FC, securing a 2-2 draw against Seattle Sounders FC with a 96th-minute penalty equalizer. Meanwhile, Myrto Uzuni helped Austin FC avoid playoff elimination with a brace in a 2-1 win at Sporting Kansas City.
