One of the hottest stories on WWE Raw over the last month has been the intensifying war between the Bloodline and 946. For weeks, the new faction has been getting the better of the legendary group. However, on this week’s edition of Raw, the rivalry intensified as World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns got involved for the first time.
The assumption of many is that the battle will continue into next month and culminate in a cataclysmic clash at Survivor Series in War Games. That expectation was confirmed in a new report from Wrestle Votes on Thursday. Furthermore, the industry insider added that the plan is for the bout to be a classic five-on-five matchup. That means both sides need to add one more person to their side before Survivor Series.
With that in mind, we offer up guesses for who could join the Bloodline and 946 for War Games.
Dark State slowly seems to be dissolving as a faction, and that is for the best. While the group has been underwhelming, one of the few bright spots is that it has showcased the upside of NXT talent, Dion Lennox. The former college football and NFL talent is a very good athlete, but what makes him a nice fit for 946 is his believable intensity.
The likely fifth member for The Bloodline will probably be a returning Jacob Fatu. The “Samoan Werewolf” was hit by a speeding car driven by Jaida Parker last month on the night she revealed she had joined 946. The former United States Champion has been sidelined ever since. However, making a triumphant return to join his family for War Games would deliver some highly entertaining television.
In terms of performers already on the roster that would be a good fit for 946, NXT’s Saquon Shugars also makes sense. He is a rock-solid wrestler with a street edge that matches the approach of 946. Furthermore, having a bump machine that brings some comic relief is useful for a faction, and Shugars could bring that.
On this week’s Raw, Reigns wondered aloud about who Sami Zayn is loyal to: The Bloodline or himself. That could be a fun question to answer on the road to Survivor Series. Reuniting with his one-time “family,” as he did in 2024, makes sense. Especially if he ended up betraying them to add another layer to his current heel persona.
Zayn could also stab the Bloodline in the back before then and side with 946 as their final member as well. Either way, he is a total wild card before Survivor Series.
If WWE wanted to make 946 a monster of a faction that seems unstoppable, adding Omos to the group would certainly do that. Due to his size, the creative department has had trouble finding a place for him on the main roster. So they sent him to AAA, where he has gotten to work with The Undertaker to help develop his character.
Bringing him back as a more polished performer and the new muscle of 946 would make the group absolutely terrifying.
Fans who only watch main roster shows may not realize, but there is a Bloodline relative competing in NXT right now: Zilla Fatu. He is currently a babyface on the black and gold brand, and could be a replacement if Fatu is not healthy enough to compete, since the pair were tag partners on the independent scene.
A one-off to expose the prospect to a larger audience for a future call-up would make sense.
