The competition is providing young South Sudanese players with valuable experience as they test their technical abilities, tactical discipline and teamwork against international opposition.
The FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival brings together young footballers in an environment designed to promote player development, international competition and the growth of youth football.
The demanding schedule requires teams to play two matches per day, with each match lasting 80 minutes, placing additional demands on players’ fitness, recovery and concentration.
For South Sudan, the festival offers an opportunity to develop emerging talent and prepare young players for higher levels of international football.
The Bright Stars will seek to build on their positive results as they continue their campaign in Azerbaijan.
