Senne Lammens has been criticised by Roy Keane as his mixed start to Manchester United's season got worse following an unforced error in the defeat to Bournemouth. The 24-year-old came flying out of his goal to meet a pass in behind but he was beaten to the ball by Evanilson, who duly fired home into an empty net to make it 3-0.
A Leny Yoro mistake led to the Cherries' second goal while Lammens was easily beaten at his near-post by Rayan for their first. Minus a strong display against Everton, Lammens has largely flattered to deceive over the last few months despite having a strong debut campaign.
The Belgian was brought to the club for £18million by Ruben Amorim and was key to United achieving Champions League qualification under Michael Carrick . He was, however, unable to have similar success at the World Cup with Belgium as his error led to their exit at the hands of Spain.
And it seems as though that incident could still be on his mind with the difference in Lammens' performances from last season compared to the first eight league games noticed by Keane.

He said on the latest Stick to Football episode: "Going back to Manchester United, the goalkeeper is costing them, isn't he? He was very good last year."
Keane isn't the only United icon to doubt whether Lammens is up to scratch as Paul Scholes remains unconvinced if he possesses the ability to help them compete for the Premier League title.
He remarked on The Good, The Bad and The Football podcast last month: "What team have you seen win the Premier League without a top-class goalkeeper? Lammens might be that, I don't know, I think the jury's probably still out on that. You need a top class goalkeeper.

"You think of Liverpool's team with Alisson, City's teams, [David] Raya at Arsenal. Man United with Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar. They've all got brilliant, brilliant goalkeepers. You start from the back, of course you do."

Despite Lammens arriving just over 12 months ago, it could demand a ruthless call with other Premier League sides having done precisely that. Raya displaced Aaron Ramsdale at Emirates Stadium after a few years while James Trafford was afforded a few weeks as Man City's No.1 before Gianluigi Donnarumma signed.
And while United could yet follow that route, there are far greater issues to address right across the pitch, in the dugout and in the boardroom. Carrick's future stays unclear but United's hierarchy has afforded him the chance to reverse things. That challenge begins on Saturday lunchtime at Stamford Bridge with a Premier League encounter against Chelsea.
Despite appearing certain to lose his position, Carrick spoke assuredly at his Thursday press conference: "I don't need any assurances from anyone.
"I totally get the position, I understand the job, I understand the responsibilities, I understand what comes with that, so I really don't need any assurances from anyone in that regard.
"I said after the game I didn't expect anything. I was literally dealing with the performance, the result, what it was. There was no hiding the fact dynamics and the atmosphere in the stadium was a little bit different to normal and going through that and digesting that. Purely my mind was 'what do we need to do to improve things?'"
