2026 Ballon d'Or: Thierry Henry reacts as Kane wins ahead of Yamal, Mbappe

France football legend, Thierry Henry, has admitted that Bayern Munich's Harry Kane is deserving of the 2026 Ballon d'Or award.

Kane won the award on Monday night, amid stiff competition from Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe.

The England captain scored 73 goals for club and country last season.

He has led the Bundesliga's scoring charts for three consecutive seasons, as well as being Europe's top overall club goalscorer for 2025-26.

"I would always back my fellow Frenchmen but I have to say something about Harry Kane," Henry told DAZN.

"I have seen him since the beginning. He had to suffer really hard to achieve what he has achieved. A worthy winner, well done."
