The money in football is astronomical and few feel that more than the superstars of the sport themselves. From mega-money contracts to lucrative sponsorships, the players earn serious money from their status in football. But who are the biggest earners in the sport right now? Here, Express Sport have detailed the players who are receiving the most money from their contracts each year, as per a report from Forbes.

Not only is Mohamed Salah by far and away the best-paid player in Turkey, but he also remains one of the best-paid players in the world. He just sneaks into the top 10 after signing a big-money contract with Trabzonspor. It's said that his deal is worth £363,000 a week, which would be worth £30million per year.  (Image: Getty)

From one former Premier League star to another, Harry Kane left Tottenham in 2024 and he hasn't just taken trophies home. The Bayern Munich ace is said to be pocketing around £32m thanks to his £400,000-a-week deal with the Bundesliga giants. Not only that, but his sponsorship deals with Skechers and Google Gemini help boost that further.  (Image: Getty)

Team-mates with Harry Kane at international level, it's no surprise to see Jude Bellingham this high up the list of best-paid players. The midfielder had clubs across Europe wanting to sign him back in 2024, with Real Madrid winning the race. His £34m per year income means that, for the first time, the UK has two players in the top 10 since 2013.  (Image: Getty)
