Issoufou Dayo makes Burkina Faso comeback as Amir Abdou names 25-man squad

Burkina Faso manager Amir Abdou has recalled Issoufou Dayo for the third and fourth rounds of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The Wydad AC defender announced his retirement from international football in January, following the Africa Cup of Nations, but has now been included in the latest squad after several months away from the national side.

Josue Tiendrebeogo is also back with Burkina Faso, while Sacha Banse returns after spending several months out because of injuries.

Banse, a midfielder with Greuther Furth, is one of 25 players selected by Abdou for the upcoming qualifiers.
