Arsenal are prepared to increase their spending to sign Club Brugge forward Nicolo Tresoldi, with manager Mikel Arteta considering the 22-year-old as a potential attacking addition before the summer transfer window.
The London club recognise the Germany striker’s value could rise significantly if he maintains his current scoring form, according to Football Insider.
Tresoldi has scored 12 goals in 14 appearances in all competitions this season, including a hat-trick against Inter in the Champions League. Club Brugge currently value him at about 48 million euros.
However, the Belgian club do not want to sell Tresoldi during the winter transfer window and would prefer to retain him until the end of the season.
